In addition to research papers, in peer reviewed medical journals, Dr McDowell has published chapters in research focused-, undergraduate- and postgraduate biomedical and clinical science textbooks. His research publications focus on the development and validation of novel biomarkers for acute coronary syndromes and heart failure.
